Archipelago for Possible Futures

Launched at the 2024 New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels, the Archipelago for Possible Futures is a growing platform connecting Europe's cultural, scientific, and tech institutions. In response to today's urgent ecological and digital transitions, it offers a space for collective imagination, experimentation, and collaboration.

We link museums, biennales, and design studios with Europe's cutting-edge public infrastructure—supercomputers, AI labs, quantum research—to shape inclusive and sustainable futures.

Our Mission

  • Embed artistic research and critical imagination into EU tech & innovation policy
  • Bridge science, technology, the arts, and European R&I strategies
  • Leverage public infrastructure for democratic, sustainable innovation

Gatherings

We host annual summits and site-specific labs:

  • 2024 | Brussels – Launch at the New European Bauhaus Festival
  • 2025 | Venice – Second edition at the Biennale Architettura
